A&E's intervention dominates when it comes to televised exploitation, I would never deny that. I spend too much time defending the show and how it's actually a beautiful reflection of human condition and no other show makes me feel so much emotion/makes me actually want to cry. BUT this season the show is all about the EXPLOIT (YEA BABY!) So, MEET ALLISON, A-L-L-I-S-O-N (intervention fans isj) her addiction is sucking on aerosol cans and she's the quintessential love-child of amy winehouse and sarah silverman. in one hour she single handedly revolutionized the show and inspired me to create this montage: (and this bitch is going viral in no time baby)
To be honest, when I was making that there were times when I'd stop myself and I'd actually feel bad for her (ie. when her cats were taken away, when she kicked her mother out of her house etc.), but then I'd remind myself that everything I included in this montage really had nothing to do with Allison's addiction. If you watch the episode you'll see that her behavior was no different from before rehab to after - she was still the same sarah silveman-esque allison character. granted, she did die her hair blond, so that was really the biggest change! allison is smart, she just "agreed to be in a documentary about addiction" and ended up taking full advantage of that by putting on quite the show! I'm totally gonna be Allison for Halloween this year! WOOP!
And kudos to Jeff Van Vonderan and his new term "queen baby"! Great job as usual Jeff!

queen baby isn't a new term. it's a term used in therapy and counseling.
also, you really shouldn't make fun of people in allison's situation. it's not easy dealing with huge issues..we are human, and sometimes emotions aren't as easy for one as it is for the other. you don't know what it's like to have no control over a substance. it's hard.

I love this show and this is the first person i hated and rooted against. I think it was completely fake and all for attention.
she's a loser, doing loser drugs. If whe had social skills and got out and made friends, maybe she'd have a real addiction, to a real drug, not some "I'm going to staples to talk to my dealer" drug.
It's not addictive, and the high lasts for like 30 seconds. Thats why every time she talks to the camera she's sucking on it at the same time, so they can get that dramatic effect.
My wife is watching the episode in the ohter room and I heard her say "I wish I had a father!" That's something an alchoholic says when they're wasted, not someone doing dustoff...someone punch her in her face.
Whoever made this video montage is vicious, cruel, and small-minded. You are no satirist, and this young woman you're thoughtlessly laughing at could be dead. Has anyone close to you ever died? Would you think it funny if I came into the hospital where your father/mother/grandfather/grandmother/sister/brother/best friend were lying in physical agony, waiting to die but for some reason was clinging on in misery, and started pointing at them and laughing? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, that's the funniest effing thing I've EVER seen! Tubes up your nose!!!!! Poo in your bed!!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! You should be ashamed of yourself.
I agreed with anonymous#3 about her needing to get punched in the face until the end when the cops finally stood up to her (no one else did the entire time...they'd just follow her orders out of guilt or shame). In the end I think this girl really is/was so tragic that anything worse than her arrest would have only supported her notion of self-worthlessness thus encouraging further drug abuse/cutting/anorexia.
I am a recovered drug addict myself and sometimes wanna just "smack" other spoiled addicts out of it. But sometimes it just gets worse when u do that. Allison's REAL turning point was the rehab facility and allowing/encouraging her to get to know herself...

Excellent editing there mate. Allison is the best thing I've seen this year. I wonder what she is doing now. When I watched the Intervention episode with her I laughed so hard I pee'd a little bit. Then I went and mixed my favourite parts into a 90 second segment.

It is funny. Its in human nature to laugh at other's suffering. Allison is an attention whore without any doubt, but it doesn't mean she doesn't suffer....
